I really don't know anything about the CAT engine , But I'll have to agree with Steven. If you use it for parades (yes) as a workhorse (no). I also agree that you will need to strengthen the frame rails. They are notorious for cracking where the steering pedestal mounts. By the way, I made new frame rails for my F12. I'm mounting a 1956 chevy 265 V8 with a shortshaft 3 speed tranny. The tranny made it easier to adapt and gives me more gear ratio and should give me 3 forward speeds and one reverse on the belt pulley as well! I should be mounting the motor this week. I'll try to post some pictures when it is finished. I'm already thinking about my other F12. V8 fitted with front wheel assist ( four wheel drive off a 79 Dodge 4x4) Wish me luck. Scott
