I would say that the mcv pump is a littel weak and has lost prime , try running the engine at about 2000 rpm's and turn the steering wheel to the left and keep turning it this should bleed any air out if the pump is half decent. Make sure that the filter is ok or replace it with a new one just to be sure and make sure the fulid level is up. If that don't work just yell and i'll try to help.
