I think the hydra-creeper was used to provide lower speeds than first gear. I believe it used a hydraulic pump (not sure where it was mounted or if it worked off the touch control pump) to power a hydraulic motor that was attached to the PTO. This gave a super low gear. I don't know how slow it went or what you needed for. Maybe someone else will be able to shed some more light on it. SAm in NS
