Shaun, If you got as vigorous with tightening as you say...you might as well take the block in too. You could very well have busted webs in the block...a sure way to destroy it. Assuming you really didn't overtighten the bolts, did you coat the threads with sealant? They do go direct to the water jacket, and require sealer. George Willer
