I have a few things to say. 1.) the 06 series made IH. Sure, they really suck to today's standards, but they were top of the line in their prime. For fuel consumption and horsepower, the 06s dominated sales. 2.) As for the 60 series, the rear differencial was the turning point. Weak rearend, exactly as some others have said, doomed them. IH lost a lot of ground because of that. 3.) Although a great series of tractors, the 66's lost ground because of the lack of new development from the 56s. Losing ground it took 20 years to regain, I don't think IH ever recovered from that one. Anybody agree or disagree with my POV?
