Friends and folk, A few weeks back I posted about cracking the block on my new (old) 140 (was entitled "dummy of the week"). Just wanted to thank those who offered suggestions. None to weld, a few to stich, most to start with another block. I have about decided after researching the subject on here that my best bet will be to do just that, find another block or engine instead of taking the risk of welding or stitching, rebuilding and still not being completely satisfied with the results. So, if anyone knows where I might find a C-123 block with the casting number of 387825R2, I's sure like to hear from ya. Also, where is the best deal on rebuild kits? Thanks again, Mitch in NC
