Yes the pressure plate fingers can be adjusted by turning the nut that holds them on. Someone with better writing skills than myself might be able to describe the process in detail. Basically you turn the nut and measure the end of the finger in relation to the base of the pressure plate. Its easy to do..difficult to describe. The IT manual gives a good detailed illustration and all measurements. If you can't buy it perhaps you could borrow one. Hope this helps.
