i had problems with the carb on my m farmall when i got it .it had set with old gas in the carb for about 5 years.i asked one of the older mechanics at work about how to clean it. he told me to take it apart and put it in a metal pan and put water and dish washing liquid in the pan and boil it on the cook stove for about an hour....and it worked cleaned it right up looks like a new one put it back together and tractor fired right up sounds silly but it does work .the water in the pan was black as coal and i had just cleaned it with carb cleaner and air compresser.....
