W^ Ampere meter sticker??

I have a 1944 W6 in good condition. The amp meter seems to be ok, but I dont know what the round grey switch is supposed to do. The decal , if there is supposed to be one is missing. The switch has 3 or 4 positions, but I dont know what they do ...does anyone else have a McCormick that can tell me what each position is supposed to do?? Thanks; Bill - Cedar Grove, Wi
