I've had 8 and 2 N Fords and they don't have much power.If I were you and looking to increase my power I'd go to a Farmall M or a 300,350,400or 450 Farmall.I like the live power and the hydraulics in the 300,350,400,and the 450s and they don't cost you that much more.The M's were probably the best Farmall ever made but limited on what you could do with them.I have a 400,350 and a Super C and I like the power of the 350 and 400.An H is not much larger than the super c.the c has 20-24 horsepower,the M has 25 horsepower,the Super M has 37 hp, the 300 has 30 horsepower,and the 400 has about 45 hp.The h has between 19-26 hp. These hp ratings are on the drawbar and not on the belt or PTO.
