there was a post in a thread in one of these YT forums recently about how to charge an 8v w/ a standard battery charger. something about a 3 amp load in series with the battery with the charger set on 12v. also if you have an older farmall with the charge rate light switch (no regulator) it should put out plenty to keep the 8v charged. however the 8v batts are lower cca than the better 6v that you can find these days. smaller tractor like an A or H should be fine with 6v to begin with. good luck! -karl
