Bryce, the 450 was the largest and last of the original M size tractor. Most were made in 1957 and a few in 1956 and 1958. The 560 replaced the 450, using a 6 cylinder truck engine. The 450 weighs more than the M due to being slightly longer and more fluids. John's comments on the front spindles is correct for the stock front spindles. However there may be aftermarket wide front ends that could handle the additional weight. You would need to make sure that you have flotation tires of the right capacity. He is correct that it would probably be cheaper to use a 3-point bale spear. You will probably need some weight on the front end for counter balance. The other thing to think about is the hydraulic pump. If your is weak you may have to get a rebuilt one. Steel Wheel Ranch sells rebuilt pumps at a reasonable price. The 300/350 tractors were the last of the original H series tractor and should be able to handle round bales also.
