I just Bought 2 F-Series tractors. One i can tell i'm positive is an F-20..(says it right on the tag). Though the other one I bought has characteristics of both an F-20 and a Regular. But I dont know which one for sure?? Things that make it look as if it were F-20..spots of red paint(IH painted everything red after 1936..regulars purduced until 1932)and the other thing that looks F-20ish is that the steering spindle of the front end is inclosed like an F-20 and not open gears.**Things that make it look like a Regular: Bronze Carb, smaller cut off's on the rear, steering spindle is shorter than my F-20, tank has only one fuel holding area, and the tag dosnt say F-20 like my other one just a serial # wich is 80,221..which would make this tractor if it is a Regular a 1930...but why the red paint?..maybe i can spend more time looking for Grey? If anyone wants pictures to compare these tractors, my F-20 to the Mystery tractor just ask. Any Help would be great!!! Thanks, Ryan Free ryan_free@hotmail.com
