You must be talking about the short on the wheel bolts to. Take the inner cover off the one with the 4 cap screws take the nut off and also the lower pan and the axle will slide right out or at least it did last week on one that we replaced the outer seal. The outer cover next to the hub I removed with the axle. Mite need another pair of hands when putting together as the big gear has to be held while you slide the axle back in a verry greasy job but not the worst. glad to help gene b
