Heres what I did a long time ago a is holding up well: Put about 5 lbs of sheet rock screws in it along with water a straped it onto my cement mixer. let it tumble for a few hours. Then put a gallon or muratic acid it and sloshed it around. Dryed it out by putting the air compressor hose it at about 15 psi and let it run for a while. Then used a kit from Eastwood Company for lining it. Follow the directions with the kit, It comes metal wash, etcher and sealer. (p/n 10165z about $40) www.eastwoodcompany.com
