I use my two point to pull from. The only requirement was that It had to have some type of stabilization. The two point lift cylinder could be removed and a solid link put in its place. All my tractors have the two point and I use them regularly so I did not want to go to the hassel of removing the cylinder every time I went to a pull. I have brackets on the top of both axle housings and on each side of my two point that I place top links in. This lets me adjust my two point up or down as needed but is rigid.
