When I moved to a small town a few years ago I had taken a Massey-Harris 444 with me, with a 7 foot blade on it. I had spent all day plowing out everyone within about a 10 block area out, I finally had come in the house about 10:30 pm and was just getting warmed up good when the phone rang, it was a lady about a mile away saying that she was snow bound, had a medical emergency and the county would not help her get out, would I help her, she asks? Being that it is an emergency, I said yes, got all of my clothes back on and went over there, plowed her out, she took off like a bat out of you know where towards town, must have been important, Well I decided to shut the tractor off and clean her sidewalks off while I was here, since she was sick. In about 15 minutes she came back to the house while I was finnishing up her sidewalk, I thought boy that was quick. She gets out of the car smoking a cigarette and says thanks, I thought that I was going to die without my cigarettes. Boy it did not take me very long to not need my coveralls anymore, I said that was your emergency? she says yes on her way into the house. I was not in a very good mood on the way home that night, thought that I was doing a good deed, (guess that I really was) but such is life. I still plow some snow, but not quite as ignorant. Have a good day.

This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit
