Here is what I am thinking of. Get the entire steering, + front axle from a W6 (just thinking out loud) Weld the axle pc. to the C-channel frame and have manual steering, the entire machine will end up weighing about 1500lbs. Then I only have to design and make the rear drive axles, with tapered roller bearings + pillow block shaft supports. I think that an existing axle that is proven (like the W6 or W9) would work great. By the way can I buy new tractor tire rims from somewhere with a 2" diameter hole in the middle, like my H rims. Would like to buy new if I could.
