Yep, my welding/machine shop has an H with the chain driven pump. I am planning to set mine up the same way, only with a belt. They run 2500 psi with the loader so they need a chain. I'm going to run a B section V-belt for mine and limit pressure to 1000 psi since I just mow and rake with my H.

Have seen a pump mounted underneath the engine driven by a cogged tooth belt on an H. Pulleys and belt are very pricey (I believe over $300 for pulleys and belt - no pump). This setup only works if you have narrow front or original wide front set forward.

Have also seen the driveshaft going through the hole where the crank goes. Have to have a CV joint or U-joint because of the angle, plus a hanger with a bearing to keep everything in line.

Many ways to do it, just takes time and some engineering!
