I just finished hooking up a loader on my "c". I filled the resevoir with fluid and fired 'er up eexcited to see my new loader work. The tractor fired right up, ran for just a second and then a loud bang up front and the tractor died. now it won't start. The noise came from near the hydraulic pump mounted on the engine, so I took the distributor cap off, turned the engine over and noticed that the rotor doesn't turn anymore. Is there a sheer pin or something in here or do I possibly have stripped gears? Any Idea what may have happened or why it happened? I used a block in the touch-trol system to get hydraulic supply to the valve that I am using. the loader has a resevoir on it so I hooked that resevoir to the one on the tractor so the will be plenty of hydraulic fluid. I think I have all the hoses hooked up right. Hopefully this information helps. I will appreciate any help that anyone can give me. Thanks in advance.
