Gary, I agree that it would be a very tough task to do because there are so many differences between the two. But since you brought up the idea, that just reinforces what I always tell people who are about to purchase one of these great old tractors, and that is to never assume that what the decals say is correct. Make sure you know and understand what the casting numbers and letters tell you. You can change the internal workings of a tractor all you want and call it whatever you like when your done, but just remember, those little letters and numbers that are found in many different places on the tractor will still tell their own story!
