john.. i suspect your battery is being drained by the alternator . if possible find a local mechanic to test for current flowing back through the alternator when the engine and switch are off if you are not able to test it your self. in the mean time you can prove the above by disconnecting the wires to the alternator over night . depending on the type of alternator a switch or diode may be needed to prevent the back flow of current through the alternator ....possible carb problems ... #1 float level not set correctly . when the bowl is near full fuel should shut off just like your commode... #2 float hanging on sides of bowl not letting it shut off fuel .#3 float needle valve not seating fully allowing fuel to flow past it .once again a good local mechanic that knows carbarators can fix the problem .
