I am looking at a Farmall Cub that is supposed to be a 1953, however the model ID plate is missing. The block casting has a date code of 4-16-R that I believe is 1948 and a block number of 2511341 R1. Is there anyway to identify the year of this tractor based on this info? Also, would it be worth $2000 in good condition with a woods belly mower. Needs all four tires as they are original. Also, has a hydrolic leak at the boot for the engaging arm. Thanks in advance.
