The origainal manifold for the dual fuel burning F-20 I believe had the larger exhaust outlet pipe. The after market manifolds and perhaps the original gas burning manifolds had a smaller exhaust outlet pipe. Originally with no muffler the F-20 had a caste iron elbow that shot the exhaust out to the side and didn't extrude out of the hood with much height. The original pipe I am sure had a set length and the elbow I believe clamped right on to that. It seems to me that the top of the elbow on an original set up was just guessing in the 6 inch range above the top of hood. It doesn't come out of the hood very far before it bends.
