Bill: I know how you feel, I had the same think happen to my 560 with the 282 diesel at 17 years and 11,000 hours. I was not surprised with mine as I had it turning close to 100 hp since new. Taxed the old 282 quite heavily. At 17,000 hours you got good use from your engine. The combine engine is probably best way to go, those engines should be better than average. There comes a time when you can no longer throw big money at a tractor. I never did fix my 560 as I couldn't see spending that kind of dollars on tractor without 3 point hitch. You do have a tractor with every necessary attachment a new one could offer.
