Start the beast up and let it run. Take each spark plug wire off at the cap one at a time. If you pull the wire off and the engine doesn't change then you know that cylinder is missing and if it does change you know that cylinder is firing. Also sometimes cleaning plugs for some reason just doesn't work. What kind are you using? Autolite 3116 seem to work the best with the fuel we get around here. The other guys suggestion of points is good to, they can be weird sometimes to they might look good but could be bad. You won't get shocked by removing the wire at the cap but don't remove it at the plug. This test should eliminate the plugs or point to the plugs. If you remove the wire slowly try to make the spark jump to the wire and the cylinder might fire. Good Luck Tim K.
