Captain, Not that I'd go back and undo a 12V conversion, but an observation on doing it in the first place as Darin wants to do. I've got a 6V battery on my H that's rated at 850CCA. Works out to about the same wattage - power - as your setup, and my H cranks very well. Point is, for the price of a battery and some new, fat 0 gauge cables, the old 6 volt system works well and there's been no need to fool with new regulators, dropping resistors, so on and so on. I think it's just softer on the wallet that way. Steve
