...#1 Son's F-12 running right. Brother found a brass carb for it earlier this spring & we finally put it on Saturday. Pulled it about 20' to get it started. Adjusted the carb, warmed it up, re-adjusted the carb & drove it around again for a while. Shut it off. Took off on 2nd pull. Went out to the farm yesterday & got it to start after a few pulls. Pulled an 8 section drag (real slow in low, but it pulls it) for a while while we tinkered w/load adjustment. Started her on the first pull while hot. Haven't tried it since she cooled off, but I bet it'll start w/o too much trouble. Gotta adjust the valves yet. Blasted old carb must have too much rust in the ports. Gonna put it in some of Baggsy's solution & cook it. (Don't know what for, but will any way, just to see if I can clean it up.) Gonna have to call Rice & get a new fuel inlet fitting coming, can't keep the one that came w/carb tight & don't think I can get the one on the old carb out w/o crushing it. Might order a new fuel line too, if he's got one. BTW, how is school going-ya just about done for the year? Ya had any rain up that way? We've had about 2 1/2" in the last week or so, but was really breezy yesterday, so lost a lot of topsoil moisture. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked
