In my neck of the woods all IH/Farmall are kind of rare. Probably due to the fact there was not an IH dealer very close. Travel 25-30 miles in any direction and the number seems to increase, although the green ones seem to have taken over in recent years. I can tell you where there are more green than red tractors. Growing up we rountinely drove between 30 and 40 miles to the nearest IH dealer for parts. Dad bought the C I have at another IH dealer roughly 50 miles in another direction. I only know of a couple of each model (C, H, and M) and don't know of any of the A or B's around close any longer. Used parts are hard to come by and the closest salvage to me with any IH parts I know of is 100 miles away. Sadly, it is rare in this area to see a working Farmall in action. I have been hoping to pick up a nice old M (or Super M) somewhere, and know where one M is, but not sure about the condition and finances will not tolerate it right now anyway. I would really like to have a wide front Super M with Saginaw 3 point and a decent front loader.
