Can't remember the exact numbers but it was written in an article in Red Power Magazine several years ago that the Farmall H outsold Deere's B about 3 to 1 and the M outsold the jd A about 2 or 3 to 1 as well. Reasons were just what You mentioned and many others as well. Some of the worst days of My life have been spent on those antiquated old 2-cyl. deeres.... I can't believe deere ever sold as many as they did!
