I put a re-build kit in my '50 C. Ordered it through Case/IH. Ended up having a hairline crack in the bowl so had to replace the carb. That was also available from Case/IH. Don't remember the cost but they aren't cheap. I may sound like a broken record but I am a believer in trying the Case/IH dealer first. Sometimes they may be more expensive but the parts will fit. They may look a little different than the original part but they do fit. To me this is a cheaper route than making several trips to an auto parts store hoping that they have cross-referenced things correctly. I haven't tried ordering any parts from the online sites mentioned in other posts on this board. I am sure that they have the experience level comparable to the dealer. My $0.02 worth.
