Jamie, almost all 1206's I have seen in eastern Wa. have American Coleman fwa front ends. These were used on through the 56 series, were and still are very popular out west. Many are dualled up all the way around, mainly for stability on the hills out here. I have an 806 with the AC front end. Just went through it this winter, needing oil seals, a bearing cup, some bushings in the pivot and steering and of course the rubber flex boots. (They don't seem to last long.) I had $350 into that including a couple of hours of machinist's time. What you hear about the big turning radius is true, as is the power hop. If you pay attention to tire pressure you can get away from some of the bounce. I wouldn't call the AC fwa a good loader option. The book says not to run any front end weights with this unit, however this tractor had a heavy blade on it for years before I bought it. No, it's not a row crop tractor with this unit. Email me if you need more info.
