The W-6 tractor was a 'pulling' tractor, but it was very capable of doing(Mowing, Plowing, Disking, Culivating, Front End Loader, Towing .), it however was not a "row-crop" type tractor and could not do market garden work, its wheels were not adjustable for this type of work. An option was the 'Torque Amplifier' which aided in pull power. They did however have rear bearing problems, and the second live PTO clutch had to be watched for adjustment. The W-6 was usually over-worked in its era as was his brother the WD-6. To-day this tractor would fit in on 160 acres or less.
