Thanks to all for the suggestions and tips. I disconnected sediment bowl and cleaned it out. I also removed the small screen above it and it had sediment in it. Even though gas shutoff was open, still no fuel came through. Reattached bowl without the screen and kept shutoff open. Then I disconnected fuel line from carburetor and gently used an air compressor (just a split second) and all sorts of sediment came out into sediment bowl and fuel began to run steady. Cleaned out again and put in screen and reattached line to carb. Sounds like it is going to work for now. Only problem is that during the process of trying to figure out what was wrong, the battery went dead. I think that in the long run I need to detach bowl and screen again as well as at carburetor, drain all gas from the tank and hose it out and try to get rid of any debris and rust, sediment, etc. that might be in the tank. Otherwise, I think it is just going to keep happening. Thanks again
