Peabody gave excellent instructions for the transmission. The hydraulic unit has a plug on the left side of the unit. It is supposed to be about 1/2" below the opening. It takes less than 1 gallon of hytran fluid. The drain plug is right below the fill plug. Becareful. There can be pressure build up in there. Learned the hard way. Loosen the fill plug, wiggle it a little to make sure there isn't pressure. The screen is on the same side as the fill/drain plugs. Just 4 bolts to take it out. Need to loosen the steering to get it out. The oil takes 6 quarts. Should have two petcocks on the left side of the pan. One is for the low mark and the other for the high mark. There are at least a thousand and one opinions on the brand and weight of the oil. What ever you are happy with. The most important thing is to change it regularly. Enjoy.
