I can share with you my own experience with rattle can paint. I bought one can of 2150 in a spray can. It would rattle the minute you picked it up, the paint didn't cover and it was very thin. I realize that this was only one can that I am basing my opinion on. I used the rust-o-leum that you are talking about and had good luck, would use it again. I have painted small parts on my tractor and couldn't tell the difference against the 2150 IH red from the gallon can. Just remember one thing about this forum, opinions are like rectums, everyone has one.
