I've noticed in the last couple of days that I'm getting a large quantity of oil under my SMTA after it is parked. I think the culprits are the rear axle seals. My question is how difficult is it to replace those seals? What does it involve? I'd also like to repair/replace the TA on the SMTA, as it is not operable. However, I'm somewhat scared to because I've never done anything on that scale. That's why I'm seriously thinking of getting a full set of service manuals for all of our farm's tractors (SMTA,H,IH504, IH1086). Do these manuals come on CD-ROM? Are the procedures to repair/replace the TA clear enough that a backyard mechanic like myself can accomplish such a job? Thanks for your help, Chad
