Hey k.b. Follow up on 856 tran noise

The noise I heard on the tractor when i was younger was that unloaded it was farily quite, but as soon as you had a load there was a whine to the tran right where your feet where or under the seat i thought it might be the bearings starting to go out in the differential. I dont remeber if it whined in reverse. It may have. the tractor is still in my area and hasnt been used much in the last 10 years but does have alot of hours to it. Good news is that the sheet metal other than fenders is in pretty good condition. Also i noticed some one added a coolant filter to her so that also is a plus. Thanks to anyone who can offer any info!
