Matt, To change the trans oil, you need to pull the big drain plug under the pto shaft and also the little drain plug on the front of the transmission case. Be aware that the trans/ rear end holds around 15 gallons of oil, so have enough buckets ready to catch it all. The small 3/8 plug in the front only holds a small amount, but needs to be drained also. To fill, just install the drain plugs and remove the small cover to the right of the gearshift (3 bolts) and dump it in. There is a check plug on the left side of the trans about half way up the side. Remove that plug and fill the case until oil comes out of that hole. If it has been a while since the oil has been changed, you could fill with kerosene and drive it around for a few min to flush it out. You can buy manuals for a few dollars on this site that will help alot in keeping your tractor serviced and adjusted properly. You'd be surprised how many service points and adjustments there are!!
