Hi there!! Kinda got some strange questions to ask. Looking for good info,, not bashing please. Ok,, What I am attempting to do is put a 263 IH 403 combine engine 6 cyl,, into a H frame. I was doing some measuring on both the H and the 6 cyl engine. I intend on using the H front end,, and legthening the rails to accomodate the longer engine. Ok,, how many bolts holds the 6 cyl flywheel to the crank? On early 460 tractors,, some have told me that they are nothing more that 350 rear ends. Is that true? Is the bellhousing used on the 350 and the 460 close to being the same? How much bigger is the 460 flywheel than the H? Could the 460 bellhousing be bolted, to the H rearend? I know that this sounds crazy to tear up a good H,, but it is something I have wanted to try. Any specs on flywheel size,, and 460 rear end and bellhousing specs would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance ChadS
