Not to be outdone! I was pulling old shrubs out in front of my house a year ago and the tractor began to run real bad. The engine was surging. played with it for a while and figured out it was a broked govenor spring. Walked to the auto parts store. he didn't have a spring that would work. I hitched a ride out to my farm shed where I had left my truck and dug through the spare parts can. Found a spring that looked about right. Drove my truck back and put the spring in. Had to take it apart and cut the spring off some, put it back together and it ran like an old girl friend. One up!
