Kirk: The remote valve I have is double action, so I need two hoses. I am not right up on the single , although I have seen them. I would say try it as it appears to have been used. Your not going to hurt anything by trying. Another item if you are using single hose and action cylinders, you will most definately need extra resovoir. The dual hose systems even if they are not dual action can utilize other end of cylinder as a resovoir.
