Chad; Originally the A, B and C all had the C-113 engine. The Super A used the same in early models. After the Super C came out with C-123 which was only a slight modification of the C-113, so it would take larger sleeves. From there on C-123 was used in SC and the new block with thicker sleeves was used in SA to give 113 cu in. The last 1,957 SA used the C-123 engine and were called SA1. I have a IT manual which covers C-123 and C-135 engines, and near as I can see they are the same block, or very close.I have been involved in some discussions re: putting C-135 engines in SA, SC, 100, 200, 130, 230, etc. Depends on where the C-135 engine came from, some applications used a crank that will not match flywheel - clutch assembly. There is one guy posts regularly here at YT is converting a C-123 in a Farmall 100 to a C-135. He and I went through this item by item and the only differences we could find were not in castings, but rather sleeves, pistons, some moving parts in head and settings.
