Crazy painting (by hand) scheme

There has been some chat re painting. My plan for the AV is to paint by hand all of the cast chassis then have the panel work and all those eyecatching flat surfaces spray painted professionally. Would appreciate any tips or advise. Plan to start early in the morning when it is calm and hot (Summer here) Tractor needs to be ready by the end of the month for our show so have to leave it a week for it to go off before i put it back together again..
