Max: Of those I listed 311 was the most common fully mounted fast hitch 3 bottom plow. The one I suspect you are looking at with hydraulic tail wheel would be the 412. From the parts book I would say it is not steerable tail wheel but just a caster tail wheel. The 540 will be steerable with a tie rod to the hitch.

This parts book I have has a lot of models mentioned, someone has removed the info on several models but left the index. The 510 and 210 just have the index pages left. Hold on, I just found another 3 bottom fast hitch plow, model is 309. The pull bar on the 309 has two different part numbers for 14" bottoms 526 171 R91 and 526 157 R91. This is made like 3 point pull bar with fast hitch forks welded at each end.

The 311 has two separate fast hitch forks bolted to plow frame, two part numbers for each side, and it calls them long coupling beam and short coupling beam. The short ones are left side 524 473 R11, right side 524 474 R11. The long ones are left side 526 343 R11 and right side 526 344 R11. This section covers both the 211 and 311 plows 2 and 3 bottom so I would expect the long ones are used on the 3 bottom plow, giving more support for extra weight. If you need anymore e mail me, then I don't need to stay on line while I type and look up items. Hope this helps.

Today's Featured Article - A City Guy's First Tractor - by Fred Hambrecht. After living in apartments in Atlanta for more years than I care to remember, the wife and I decided to move to the country. Humming "Green Acres is the place for me..." we purchased a 29 acre tract about 60 miles south of Atlanta. Next came the house, I could talk about that ordeal for another two weeks... But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked ...
