First things first. It sure isn't a 46. The first year of production was 1947. According to the partial s/n it would either be a rather late 48 or an early 49. As for the price, all depends on what you consider to be reasonable. Give you an example. My 48 cost me 1,000.00 Cdn and included the Cub-193 Moldboard plow and a horse drawn spring harrow. Cultivators cost me 500.00 Cdn. Cub-189 Moldboard cost me 300.00 Cdn. Snow plow blade cost me 150.00 Cdn. Go from there. Oh for the sake of comparison and buying power Cdn and US are considered on par for this type of thing. So if it cost me 25 Cdn, it would run around 25 US in your area thereabouts. If you go to the manual server at the link below, and check out some of the links such as the FAQ's, Best of H.L. Chauvin, that should give you some more ammunition to barter with.
