According to Machinery Link your tractor was made in 1981 and worth $6,500 in average condition. There are several dealers on the net that will sell you a remanufactured engine and give you a credit for your block. Like Jonathan said if the rest of the tractor is in good shape, a $1,500 to 2,500 investment in a rebuilt engine might be worth considering. http://www.machinerylink.com/resources/
