That's why I don't make my own gaskets, because I can never seem to duplicate the original material, and the ones I have made leaked. -- But I have replaced virtually all the gaskets on a Super H and C during the last couple of years, including two transmission gaskets, two head gaskets, and four gaskets between the rear case and the axles without a single problem as to fit. The C does have a slight drip from one rear axle gasket, probably my fault. I would guess that most of these gaskets don't sit around long enough to get much shrinkage because of the number of tractors, but I'm no expert, just that they have worked for me so far.
