Do you have a PTO implement on the tractor? My 460 makes an intermittent clunk when I have the snowblower running and no load. It's almost like gear play in the PTO/tranny area. Try disengaging the PTO and see if the clunk stops. I was told this was normal for the model of tractor. Stan
