I read many posts about safety and proper pulling vehicles when moving tractors. I plan to park my 1/2 ton pickup and work on a different set up. I have two nice antique tractors that I take to various shows. I just purchased a GMC 4000 on a sealed bid auction. Has anybody ever put a tractor in the bed of a truck and pulled a car trailer with another tractor on it? My car trailer is too handy to trade in for a goose neck trailer. If so, how did this work? The old GMC is a 1962 with 7,000 original miles. It runs like a dream. With a little work, It can look factory new. I thought it would be neat to show the truck too. A 6,200 lb Farmall M + a trailer is an awful lot for the 1/2 ton pickup. Even with trailer brakes.
